How Does the Process Work:

  • You decide to sell
  • You begin your research
  • We conduct a pre-listing interview (over the phone) and set an appointment to meet with you
  • We educate you further on the process and what to expect
    • Discussion of market conditions
    • Our Marketing Plan
  • You decide to work with LaskeyHomes in the sale of your home
  • We implement the marketing plan (see below)
  • Showings are conducted and feedback is gathered
  • Offers are received and we help you to negotiate the best offer to meet your goals
  • We then begin the work of heading toward closing on your home
    • Attend the appraisal with information for the appraiser that we have gathered from sold data and also a list of improvements you have made on your home with estimated costs.
    • Monitor the progress on the buyer's loan
    • Make sure all deadlines of the contract are being met on time
    • Communicate with the title company to insure that they are ready for closing, as well as to direct you in any information they may need from you.
    • Help you to negotiate inspection items that the buyer is requesting to have repaired
    • Provide you with vendors to assist with inspection items
    • Arrange for closing time, in coordination with the buyer and their agent
    • Review the closing statement with you prior to closing
    • Instruct you as to when to transfer utilities out of your name and to the buyer's agent as to when they should be prepared to transfer them into their name
  • We will attend closing with you and insure that everything is handled according to the terms of the contract.
